With most calls for service, a properly trained K-9 Team can decrease the number of man hours needed to complete a given task. They are an effective Law Enforcement Tool that can reduce the risk of injury to Patrol Officers and enhance Officer safety.

Heel: The dog will walk on your left-hand side with no pulling

Automatic Sit: The dog will sit whenever you stop.

Stay: The dog will stay regardless of distractions until your release him/her from the command.

Down: The dog will completely submit and lay down.

Come: The most important command; the dog will eagerly return to you.

Advanced Obedience:

Basic Obedience is a pre-requisite. Advanced obedience graduates will be able to demonstrate the same commands listed under Basic Obedience but they will do so off-leash and with hand signals in lieu of verbal commands.
